Panchakarma Treatment

Panchakarma treatment is one of the integral treatments in Ayurveda, and is often considered to be one of the rejuvenation therapies. In the event, you have been suffering from illnesses, frequent infections, undue tiredness, or feeling lethargy or feeling low. These problems would need a comprehensive cleansing of the body followed by rejuvenation therapy.

The panchakarma is an ayurvedic therapy which involves the five phases:

  1. Emesis (Vamana)
  2. Purgation (Virechana)
  3. Medicated Enema (Basti)
  4. Medicated nasal oils (Nasya)
  5. Tox Blood setting (Rakta mokhan)

According to Ayurveda, the body’s principal energies Vata, Pitta and Kapha need to be well balanced to ensure good health. If the energies go out of balance, it affects health. Yerukalapudi Hospital in Vijayawada, Tenali, and Guntur, helps the patient to remove such toxins and make attempts to clear the dosha in the body through the process of Panchakarma Treatment Procedures.

We believe that the Panchakarma Treatment would primarily involve cleansing and rejuvenation both, as it concerns the body, mind, and consciousness. It is also a known theory that every human being is unique in terms of his biological makeup and is a manifested form of the following elements, Air, Fire, Water and Earth.

With reference to our years of experience, we understand that the “Concept of sickness in majority of us, is through the consumed food and the toxins that get into it, and through the system of Panchakarma, we restore the person from the sickness by the cleansing of toxins.”

The individualistic treatment

Yerukalapudi Hospital offers the individualistic panchakarma treatment process, by thoroughly understanding the specific constitution and specific disorder in an individual, and the entire process is done through close observation and also supervision.

The treatments get initiated through the pre-purification measures of Sneha and Svedana

  • The former involves the application of medicated oils, ghee, and herbs to the body internally and externally for three to seven days. The treatment of Snehaa is extremely important as it loosens the toxins and doshas in the body.
  • The latter involves the application of heat using a variety of techniques which are meant to induce the body into sweat, and through the sweat, the body is able to purify itself from toxins.
